We're Back

Hello! We are back from our short hiatus. A lot has gone on since the last time we posted. Tuffy is no longer with our group. He is living with another family. He was having some behaviour issues and he needs to be with someone that doesn't care what he does and lets him do whatever. He bit Gabby a few times and enough was enough. Anyways....what else Bubble?
Well Shanaynay we've come to find out that I enjoy snoozing on the computer desk chair. Oh yes Bubble....that you do


Oh we must talk about the Petoberfest at All Creatures Animal Clinic. Gabby took us both. Bubble dressed up as a ballerina. I wore a pink neck tie. Gabby really gets into dressing us up.

Bubble was in the costume contest, unfortunately she didn't win. I was sure she would win.

Mark took us on a tour through the clinic. Michele, Gina, and Chilly met us at the Petoberfest. We love Chilly, our cousin!!!

We were given goodie bags and toys and treats. Bubble almost overheated. Thank God she was okay. We had a fun time! We saw Dr. Latter....we love him!!

It was a super long day and we love when Gabby or Mark takes us out to places.

Tire Changing or Trip to the Park?

I was sure we were going on a little trip to the park. Mark opened the hatch back and that usually means we're going to the park. But for some reason....the car didn't move.

Then we realized we weren't going anywhere and that Mark was just fixing the tire.
Sunday afternoon Bubble and I got a little bored, so we decided to wrestle. I can't remember which one of us won...but we sure had fun!
I had that little Bubble pinned down.... ha ha ha ha!!

Sam's Club Dog Toys

Mom went to Sams the other day and brought back this awesome box.

I quickly sniffed it and jumped inside.
Mommy put Tuffy in the box to see what he'd do, he just sat there. Shanaynay wasn't too interested in the box either.
Man! That tasted GOOD!
Time to rest.
Let me find a good spot to gnaw on.
This is when Mommy told me to stop because I began "Eating" it. A peice of card board got stuck in my throat. Mommy said thats the last time I'll be playing with a box....we'll see about that one.... he he he.
Ahhhh....memories..... Yummy!
Okay, so that was the highlight of last week.

New Toy Day

Gabby surprised us with a few new toys. She bought us 3 rope toys. As you can see we really like them!!!! She is so super special!

Bubble- I quickly dashed for the bright orange rope toy. It wasn't long before we tore into them and pulled out the stuffing.
Tuffy wasn't too excited about the toys as Shananynay and I were.
Tearing into the toys and pulling out all the stuffing was my all time favorite!!!
Yum! Fun!

Thoughts

Some thoughts from the

"Extreme Canine"

My mommy Gabby gave me a bath last night. I've been breaking out under my neck. Mark thinks I may have another staff infection. Also, I've been having this annoying itch on my paws. We think its from the grass. I must be allergic to something out there. My bath was very long but afterwards my mommy Gabby gave me a big hug and kiss and said I smelled and looked very pretty.

I love to sleep zzzzzzzzzzzzz, and play too. Yesterday my mommy Gabby took me and Bubble with her running. Well I didn't have to run, I walked behind. When we came home, the cold tile floor was very welcoming.
Food, just give me food and I'll be happy. Yesterday my mommy Gabby took me and Bubble & Shanaynay for a walk. I don't like going for walks very much. So after the first circle on the drive I was done. So Gabby brought me home and then took Bubble & Shanaynay for a run. Mark gave me a bath last night. I think I was good for him. Now I also smell fresh and clean. Gabby fed me last night and she mentioned she hadn't seen me eat so fast before. I'm feeling better than I did in previous months. My new parents take good care of me.

**And side note to my new friend "Chad"- I'm not an alien, I'm a Shih-Tzu. Get it right or I might bite ya. Ha Ha Ha....

Diogi Dog Park

Well here we go, our very first blog. Last Sunday our parents took us to a dog park. It was our first dog park experience. There were many different breeds of dogs. And here we thought only maltese and pugs existed (our cousins).

The dog park was named after Sgt.Diogi, he was killed in the line of duty along with his partner Duputy Matt Williams September 28, 2006.
The park is really nice and filled with fun agility equipment that we all tried. Shanaynay was the bomb....she conquered pretty much all of them. Bubble had a tough time on the jumps at first, but after much encouragement from Gabby and Mark she did well. Shanaynay managed to walk the teeter totter a few times with ease.






Shanaynay noticed the water trough first, we think. When she realized how cool it was, she took a dip every now and then. Just cooling off and watching everybody. Tuffy even got a quick dip in the water. We think he liked it after he realized it cooled him down.




After much play, Bubble found a cool spot to rest.








Mark and Gabby found a ball at the park that we all played with. Bubble was in "Ball Heaven". She took off running for the ball everytime someone threw it for her. She even gripped it soo tight Mark was able to hold her up in the air and swing her. We think Bubble is quite a tough dog.

We all met some really interesting looking dogs at the park and made some friends. We can't wait till Mark and Gabby take us again. Our parents rock!!!
